Go for a Dip at Glenn Hall Park

January 7, 2016 | western

Many locals use Glenn Hall Park as a throughway to the water. It's within walking distance of Paradise Beach, so some folks park here and go for a stroll toward the sand. Just head up over the levy and to the shallow pool of water on the other side. One Yelp reviewer describe it more as a lagoon than a beach, and the water is shallow enough for your pup or children to safely splash around within your eyeline.

The natural body of water isn't the only reason to visit Glenn Hall Park, though. This popular local spot also boasts a public pool where you can go for a dip on a hot summer's day. Play a game of soccer with friends on one of two fields and then cool down at the pool. You can also play a round of volleyball, tennis, or even softball. If your children are at they age where they're only interested in playgrounds, take them to the tot lot right next to the tennis courts.
